April 5 - Annual Auction - Open to the Public!!

The Annual Auction to benefit bird rescue/rehome, conservation, education and research, will be held at Westech Mechanical at 4755 Fox Street in Denver.

You can view the items up for auction beginning at 11 a.m. and the auction will begin at 12:00. We will be auctioning off items donated by the public and RMSA members. We already have some great items that you will definitely want to win! There are always great deals on bird cages and cage accessories, toys, household items, mechanical things, bric-a-brac, clothing, artwork, games, and so very much more!

Our auctioneer is Linda Tegtmeier from Goldstar Auctions. We are excited that Linda is conducting the auction again this year. Auction staffers offer lots of comic relief and everyone has a great time. Lunch and snacks will be available during the auction.

April 19 & 20 - Colorado Pet Expo

RMSA is pleased to be part of the 2nd Annual Colorado Family Pet Expo at Denver Merchandise Mart. Offering top-quality demonstrations, presentations and the latest products and services for pet owners and pet enthusiasts. Lisa McManus will present a talk on RMSA and Pet Bird Ownership. Visit RMSA in Booth #908.

This year's Spring Bird Expo will feature speakers and performances by The Thunderbirds. The speakers will be Sally Blanchard, Noelle Fontaine, Madeleine Franco, Dr. Bill Guerrera and Laney Rickman. Check back often for updates, giving topics and times! Speakers will be speaking on both Saturday and Sunday!

Raffles will be held throughout the Expo, with great bird items and people items! Raffle tickets start at $1 each and are less when you buy more!

Silent auctions, where you write your bid for a certain item on a bid sheet and keep checking back to see if you have been outbid before the end of that auction. Items have ranged from artwork to huge bird toys and cages and everything in between!

The raffles and the silent auctions are lots of fun!! You won't want to miss out on these opportunities to get great items at a small cost.

Featuring birds (many you may not have seen in 'person' before), bird toys, cages, seeds and pellets and treats, gifts, artwork, jewelry, clothing, CD's and DVD's, educational items, conservation information, veterinarian and clinic information tables, and much, much more! You will find the best sale prices on all items and the best selections of new products and old favorites!!

If you have never had a booth or table at the Spring Bird Expo, this is a major avian event in Colorado. Remember, most bird owners have other pets, as well, and would love to see companies with cross-over products and services! Vendor space available! The Expo will be held at the National Western Complex located at 4655 Humboldt Street, Denver, Colorado 80216. This is just east of I-25 on I-70, exit Brighton Blvd. You can see the entire complex immediately on the north side of I-70!
